NATIONAL YOUTH TALENTS FINAL- MASTER RESTAURANTEURS OF FRANCE AT FERRANDI PARIS
Léo ACHILLE, Restaurant Domaine d'Auriac, has won the eighth edition of the Young Talents Final - Masters Restaurateurs of France, which took place on the 26th March 2018 in the kitchens and at the restaurant Le Premier of FERRANDI Paris.
This eighth edition was sponsored by Guillaume GOMEZ, head chef at the Elysée.
This year the eight selected candidates had to make a dish and a dessert in four hours for four people, on an imposed theme:
• Dish: "Terre & Mer" Saint Jacques of Normandy & Coppa of Parma) with artichokes poivrade.
• Dessert: "Chocolate & Spices (Tonka beans, Espelette pepper and Sichuan pepper).
The "Young Talent Contest" is a national competition that aims to unveil the young apprentices, the future hopes of French gastronomy. It has contributed to promote the training and excellence of French cuisine since 2010.
This competition concerns above all the young cooks evolving in apprenticeship in a Maître Restaurateur restaurant.
