Gulan Altunay, cuisine student at FERRANDI Paris, wins the national final of the France’s Best Apprentice Chef competition
The final of the France’s Best Apprentice Chef competition 2019 was held on Monday the 13th of January in FERRANDI Paris’ kitchens and training restaurant Le Premier. This year, Michel Roth (Meilleur Ouvrier de France – Bocuse d’Or 1991) presided over the competition.
The thirteen candidates had 4 hours and 40 minutes to prepare the following menu:
The results ceremony was held that evening at The Westin Hotel, Paris Vendôme.
Well done to Gulan Altunay, final year student of the BAC PRO in Cuisine at FERRANDI Paris, and apprentice at the Hôtel de Matignon, who took home the first prize in this prestigious competition.
