Justine Ferrand - Bachelor in Culinary Arts and Entrepreneurship student

Why did you choose to pursue your studies in that field?
After graduating from a Bachelor in Psychology in Scotland, I decided to apply to FERRANDI Paris.
As cooking has always been a passion - I always had that idea in my mind but it was not an easy decision to make especially after spending 3 years studying a specific subject that would not be a part of my future.
After cooking a lot for me an my family, I realized that I wanted my job to be my passion and decided to give it a shot.

Why did you choose FERRANDI Paris and the Bachelor in Culinary Arts and Entrepreneurship?
The program is comprehensive: we cover both cooking and entrepreneurship subjects and, above all, we work on all the subjects that may directly or indirectly relate to catering (sommerie, hygiene, law, etc.).

What was the best part of the program?
-    Being able to learn in small groups. It allows the teachers to really get to know their students and thus, place them in internships that suit them. And it allows the students to benefit from a very personalized approach.
-    Being able to create from A to Z company with students from different programs (Pastry students, Cuisine students and Hospitality Management students). It’s a perfect opportunity to get into the entrepreneruship world!

What are your plans for the future?
My goal is to open my restaurant in Japan!
Which is why this program was great for me: I was able to do an internship abroad and network a lot with chefs, alumni and current students.
