Master of Science in Hospitality Management

Complete the application form to the program of your choice, including the documents below:  

  • Cover letter and a detailed CV [resume] merged on a single PDF file 
  • Copy of your Passport in a PDF file 
  • Transcripts of the last year of study in higher education in a PDF file. If this document is not in English, an official translation is required 
  • Copy of your Bachelor degree ((180 ECTS or equivalent for 1st year candidates, 240 ECTS or equivalent, for 2nd year) in a PDF file. 
  • specific supporting documents, i.e., any document that could enrich your application, including language certification, letters of recommendation, GMAT, TOEFL, etc., merged in a pdf file.  
  • Proof of payment of the non-refundable application fee [or your application will not be examined]. 

 

Bachelors

  • Copy of your Passport in a PDF file – if you have two nationalities, add both on a single PDF file
  • Transcripts of the current year of study and the previous one in a PDF file. If this document is not in English, an official translation is required
  • Copy of the Highest degree earned in a PDF file. If this is document is not in English, please include an official translation in the same PDF file. 
  • Please note if you have not finished High School yet, your admission will be conditional, and you will be asked to provide this document later.
  • Certificate of Equivalence of the French BAC in a PDF file. 
  • If you have already finished High School, you are required to provide in your application a proof of equivalence of the French "BAC". You can have more information on degree recognition here.
  • Specific supporting documents, i.e., any document that could enrich your application, including language certification, letters of recommendation, IELTS, TOEFL, etc., merged in a pdf file. 
  • Proof of payment of the non-refundable application fee [or your application will not be examined].  

Once your application is submitted, our Selection Jury will review it and asses your eligibility to pursue the MSc in Hospitality Management. The Selection Jury will assess your academic records and/or professional experience, and after studying your file, you will receive an email informing you of the outcome of this step.  

Please note that official records in a foreign language must be translated into English by an official translator. Copies are accepted, however original documents may be requested. Non-native speakers of English might be required to take an internal English Proficiency Test. Alternatively, international applicants can share their TOEFL, IELTS or TOEIC test results.  

Master of Science in Hospitality Management

International candidates whose applications are considered eligible by the Selection Jury move on to the Interview phase. The purpose of these 30-minutes interviews is to assess the candidate's open-mindedness, adaptability, professional and personal plans, and ability to take advantage of the full program to start the career for which the program prepares. 

 The interview will be conducted in both French or English depending on the track chosen for the 1st year of Master, and in English exclusively for the 2nd year of Master. Interviews take place on the Paris Campus or by video conference in case of impossibility to travel. Candidates must attend these tests with their invitation and an ID card or Passport.  

The motivational interviews are conducted face-to-face by FERRANDI Paris’ Dean or representative, who acts as Chairman of the Jury, two professionals of the sector and one teacher.  

The calendar of the interviews will be available from December 5, 2022, on our website and is updated regularly. 

 

Bachelors

International candidates whose applications are considered eligible by the Selection Jury are informed by email they are moving on to the Interview phase. Interviews will be conducted regularly throughout the recruitment season, but please note as seats are limited we strongly encourage you to complete your admissions process as soon as possible.

1st year candidates: a general knowledge test and a motivation interview.

2nd and 3rd year candidates: a motivation interview.

The purpose of these 30-minutes interviews is to assess the candidate's motivation to join the Bachelor program, career goals, and ability to take advantage of the full program to start the career for which the program prepares.

 The interview will be conducted in English. Interviews take place on the Campus of their chosen training or by video conference in case of impossibility to travel. Candidates must attend the interview with their invitation and an ID card or Passport. 

The motivational interviews are conducted face-to-face by FERRANDI Paris’ Dean or representative, who acts as Chairman of the Jury and one teacher. 

 

Master of Science in Hospitality Management

At the end of the interviews of each recruitment session, the admission jury draws up the first list of admitted candidates. The number of candidates admitted per session is determined by the jury according to the academic level requested. The jury then draws up a supplementary list of candidates who may be called upon, depending on their ranking.  

Admission is valid only for the academic year following the recruitment session. However, in exceptional cases, the candidate who has been admitted may keep the benefit of his/her admission for the following year. He/she must explain the reasons for his/her request in writing to the Academic Manager no later than July 10, 2023, who will judge the relevance of the request.  

Candidates who are not admitted will have the opportunity to retake the selection interview the following year. In this case, they must send a new application. 

 

Bachelors

At the end of the interviews of each recruitment session, the admission jury draws up the first list of admitted candidates. 
Jury dates for 2024 are: January 16th, February 28th, April 2nd, May 21st, June 18th and July 16th. Additional dates may be included, so make sure you check our website regularly.

Both Msc and Bachelors program

Candidates are notified of their results within 48h after the Admissions Jury take place by an official letter via e-mail. If a positive outcome, in addition to an official admissions letter, candidates also receive additional information with the next steps for their enrollment.
