Nos étudiants du programme MSc in Hospitality Management ont eu le plaisir de suivre un atelier, organisé au sein de FERRANDI Paris Campus de Saint-Gratien, encadré par Guy Maignant - enseignant formateur en sommelerie !

Cet atelier, entièrement dédié à l'univers du Champagne, a été une véritable immersion dans le luxe, l'élégance et le raffinement.

Nos étudiants ont eu l'opportunité d'approfondir leurs connaissances sur le Champagne à travers divers aspects, tels que son histoire, les repères géographiques et les produits caractéristiques de chaque région, les étapes minutieuses de son élaboration, les appellations prestigieuses, la teneur en sucre spécifique, ainsi que les cépages soigneusement sélectionnés qui donnent vie à cette boisson d'exception.

Dr Nathalie Sarrouy-Watkins, Research Professor in Entrepreneurship at FERRANDI Paris, took part in the Eurochrie scientific congress held in Vienna from 2 to 6 October.

She presented her paper entitled "Behavioural mode and performance of hospitality firms during the startup phase: the case of Senegal" with A. Mbengue and C.O. Baldé.

The conference provided an opportunity for great discussions and meetings with researchers from all over the world.

A meeting with three inspiring professionals from the hotel industry: Christophe Mendjel, entrepreneur and owner of the Paris j'Adore Hotel & Spa - 5 ✩, Thierry Massin - FERRANDI Alumni and today Director of Lodging at the same establishment and Fanny Ducalf, apprentice and assistant F&B manager.

At the heart of this enriching meeting with our students, crucial topics were explored, such as protecting the environment, improving working conditions in the hospitality industry and strengthening ties with our local partners.

Au cœur de cette rencontre enrichissante avec nos étudiants, des sujets cruciaux ont été explorés, tels que la protection de l'environnement, l'amélioration des conditions de travail dans l'industrie hôtelière et le renforcement des liens avec nos partenaires locaux.

The 5th edition of "Get Up 4 Tourism" - an inter-school challenge organized by TFHTS - Top French Hospitality and Tourism Schools. This year, 100 students from the association's 4 member schools - Excelia, FERRANDI Paris, Institut Lyfe (Ex-Institut Paul Bocuse), Y SCHOOLS - joined forces to tackle the major challenges facing tourism and hospitality, guided by their coaches and assessed by a panel of experienced professionals.

The central theme of this year's competition was "Flow management thanks to artificial intelligence". Teams presented innovative solutions and hard-hitting ideas for optimizing tourist flows, highlighting the importance of AI in the sector.

A big well done to all the participants for their dedication, passion and exceptional teamwork, and thank you to our Bachelor in F&B and Hospitality Management students for representing our school so well!

La 5e édition du "Get Up 4 Tourism" - Challenge inter-école organisé par l'association TFHTS - Top French Hospitality and Tourism Schools. Cette année, 100 étudiants des 4 écoles membres de l'association - Excelia, FERRANDI Paris, Institut Lyfe (Ex-Institut Paul Bocuse), Y SCHOOLS - ont uni leurs forces pour relever les grands enjeux du tourisme et de l'hospitalité, guidés par leurs coachs et évalués par un jury de professionnels averti

La thématique centrale de cette édition était la "Gestion des flux grâce à l'intelligence artificielle". Les équipes ont présenté des solutions innovantes et des idées percutantes pour optimiser les flux touristiques, mettant en lumière l'importance de l'IA dans le secteur.

 Un grand bravo à tous les participants pour leur dévouement, leur passion et leur travail d'équipe exceptionnel et merci à nos étudiants en Bachelor Management Hôtelier et Restauration d'avoir si bien représenté notre école !
