Arnaud Donckele, former student of FERRANDI Paris, at the head of the classification "The 100 Chefs" 2019 in Monaco

On Sunday November 25th 2018, Arnaud Donckele, a former FERRANDI Paris student and chef at the restaurant ‘La Vague d'Or’ in Saint Tropez and rated as 3 stars in the Michelin Guide, was top of the ranking in the 5th edition of the 100 best chefs in the world 2019 on the stage of the Chefs World Summit in Monaco.
Launched in 2015 by the magazine: Le Chef, this unique world ranking is exclusively produced by Michelin-starred chefs from around the world, based on a single question: "What are the 5 international chefs who best reflect the values of the profession, create unavoidable cuisine and out of them where should I go?"
France still holds on to first place with 36 names in the ranking of which 19 present since its creation. Since 2018, Spain has had 10 chefs on this list whilst the United States has had 9.
