100% Feminine Competition "La Cuillère d'Or", at FERRANDI Paris

    "La Cuillère d'Or" competition took place on the 7th and 8th March 2018, a 100% female gastronomic competition open to women and girls in two distinct categories.
    This 4th Edition of the trophy was chaired by the founder of the association and trophies, Marie SAUCE-BOURREAU, alongside Danielle CROST, vice-president and Christian TETEDOIE, honorary president of the association.
    This year, 3 trophies have been awarded: Cuisine La Cuillère d’Or, Pastry La Cuillère d’Or and La Cuillère d’Or for the girls.
    All the finalists were aided by students and teachers of FERRANDI Paris, with both their cooking as well as their service in the dining room.

    Each candidate had 2 hours to make a chocolate and citrus themed cake for 6 people.

    The theme of the 2018 contest was “The Egg”, Symbol of Fecundity and renewal, freshness of spring.
    Each candidate had three and a half hours to make an entry and a dish for 6 people, a presentation and a tasting.

    The theme of the 2018 contest was “The goddesses of the world”
    Each candidate had five hours to make two identical chocolate desserts on site, for 6 people, one for the presentation and one for the tasting.
